The Jewish Community and Entertainment Industry Outreach and Development Manager will be charged with expanding CCFP’s community relationships and donor base.

Working with CCFP’s Director and co-founders, this person will increase broad community support via donor cultivation, identification, and stewardship, and they will help CCFP expand its relationships within the greater Jewish and entertainment communities to help further CCFP’s mission.

Core Responsibilities

 Develop and execute, in partnership with Director and co-founders, a fundraising plan that will achieve the financial goals set out by the organization. The plan will include (but is not limited to) strategies for identifying potential funders and foundations, cultivating and educating them about our work, and ultimately seeking their ongoing support;

 Research, establish and maintain ongoing donor and prospect relationships by phone, written communication and personal contact; maintaining and deepening existing donor relationships through regular cultivation, communication, stewardship, and solicitation;

 Develop new markets and areas where the organization is unknown, and create new arenas for fundraising for the organization; continue efforts and help markets grow where CCFP already has a presence;

 Help in grant writing and draft grant proposal narratives, letters of inquiry, reports and supporting documents.

 Work with staff to ensure the development and writing of corporate proposals and solicitation materials;

 Help plan parlor meetings for entertainment industry professionals and organize various fundraising events;

 Engage members of our organization to be active partners in the fundraising process, including identifying potential donors, securing individual meetings, hosting parlor meetings and fundraising events;

 Fill-out, track and respond to all grant applications, including related progress reports.

Qualifications
The DM will be thoroughly committed to CCFP’s mission. Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include:

 Direct fundraising experience with a track record of success, major gifts preferred;

 Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills;

 Significant donor and Jewish community contacts, particularly in New York City;

 Experience planning and running events;

 Good team player, who is able to take direction and able to work collaboratively with dynamic leadership and staff;

 Familiarity and experience with entertainment industry a major plus;

 Knowledge of issues facing the Jewish community and Israel;

 Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, team player; and

 Bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years of relatable work experience
